Purpose and operator
CreteFLEET Backups is a private tool operated by the CreteFLEET administrator to back up and recover its testing database. Questions and requests can be sent to babourask@gmail.com.
Google account access
With the account owner's consent, the tool uses Google's Drive API and the drive.file permission. This permits access to files created or explicitly authorized for the application. It does not request general access to the account's unrelated Drive files, Gmail messages or contacts. Google handles sign-in; the tool does not receive the account password.
OAuth client credentials and access/refresh tokens are stored in access-restricted configuration on the backup server and on the administrator's configuration computer. They allow unattended backup operations.
Backup data and use
The tool creates, uploads, lists, downloads and removes its backup files solely for backup verification, retention and recovery. Database archives may contain device identifiers, location history, vehicle records and, when present in the deployed schema, account password hashes, memberships, session records and audit history. The current deployment is used for testing.
Archive contents and filenames are encrypted before transfer to Google Drive. Encryption recovery material is retained separately by the administrator. Temporary plaintext dumps exist on the backup or restore computer during processing and are removed on normal completion or handled failure; interrupted processes may require administrator cleanup.
Storage and service providers
Google Drive stores the encrypted archives. The VPS provider hosts the application and operational configuration. Resend delivers operational notification emails to the designated administrator; these contain check names and severity rather than database contents, Google tokens or encryption keys. Data is not sold or used for advertising.
Retention
Scheduled retention keeps the latest backup on each of 14 occupied days and eight occupied weeks. Deletion occurs only after a new backup is verified. Gaps in backup activity can extend retention. Drive trash may retain deleted files until emptied. Separate test archives are retained until the administrator removes them. Credentials remain until replaced or removed.
Your control
The account owner can revoke the connection through their Google Account's third-party connections settings, preventing subsequent authorized Drive operations. Revocation does not automatically delete existing archives or local configuration. The owner can delete stored files in Drive and request removal of configuration and retained copies from the administrator.
This website
These information pages use no analytics, advertising or application cookies. The hosting server may record ordinary request information such as IP addresses, requested paths and timestamps for operating and diagnosing the site.
